Glorious morning saw the beach packed with holiday makers. Lots of 4 by 4's parked on the beach with power boats on trailers, but thankfully few boats were on the water. Wind forecast to pick up late afternoon, but some came in around lunch time so went out on 90litres and 5.8m. Had a couple of hours nicely powered sailing with occasional ramps and plenty of swell to gybe off, but no waves to ride.

Wind picked up later as forecast and loads of windsurfers arrived as the families disappeared. Possibly people who were starting a week's holiday. 75 litre waveboards and 4.7 / 5.0m sails were in use and I was going to change down, but realised I was spent so had a short session overpowered and called it a day. Not bad overall, but disappointing that no real waves (there were a few further down the bay, but the wind is more on-shore here). Should have rigged a 4.7 in the morning while we were waiting for the wind to pick up.
